IqraQuest travels five realms of Islamic knowledge in 900 questions, each with its source and its explanation. Here is what the game teaches, and how it does it.

The name
The first word
Iqra — “Read” — opens Sūrat al-ʿAlaq, which tradition reports as the first verse revealed.
IqraQuest takes its name from that imperative. Read, learn, seek: here knowledge is the engine of the game, not its scenery. Every gallop is earned with an answer, and every answer opens onto a source and an explanation. The race is the pretext; knowledge is the journey.

Three levels, chosen by each player
Before the game, each player chooses their own. A child and an adult play on the same board, each with questions to match.
Easy
For a seven-year-old discovering all of this: the names, the pillars, the great stories.
Intermediate
For those who know the basics and want to connect them: a verse, a companion, an event from the Sīra.
Expert
For those who want to be surprised: the detail of a sūra, a precise reference, a lesser-known hadith.
Mixed
Each card draws its own level. The game changes pace with every draw.
You never move back
A wrong answer leaves the horse where it is. Nothing is taken away, nothing is marked. You read the right answer, the source, the explanation — and you draw again. That is how you learn as you play, including when you get it wrong.

Where the questions come from
From the Qur’an, or from a hadith reported in Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī or Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim. The few widely established descriptive facts that point to no single work — a name, a number, a unanimous practice — are marked as such rather than tied to an invented reference. At the slightest doubt, the question is dropped.

Twelve languages, one bank
The facts, the references and the answers exist once; only the wording is translated. A question asked in Urdu cites the same source as in French.
